What is a SWIFT transfer?
A SWIFT transfer is a method used by financial institutions to securely send and receive money internationally. SWIFT stands for Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication. It provides a network that allows member banks and financial institutions to communicate and transfer funds using a unique identification code called a SWIFT code.

How long does a SWIFT transfer take?
Generally, a SWIFT transfer takes 1–5 business days to complete. The actual time may be influenced by factors such as the participating banks, the destination country, any intermediary banks involved, and the accuracy of the information provided for the transfer.
How can I send money to other CFPS customers?
You can send money to other CFPS users via SEPA or SWIFT transfers. To make a SEPA or SWIFT transfer, tap “Send funds” on the Home screen, choose the right option (Within Europe / Internationally), and follow the instructions. All transfers between CFPS users are free of charge.
Is a SWIFT transfer safe?
Yes, a SWIFT transfer is considered safe. The SWIFT system ensures secure and efficient communication between financial institutions, allowing them to exchange information and electronic messages about financial transactions. SWIFT does not hold or transfer funds but acts as a messenger between banks. It provides a unique code, known as a SWIFT code, to identify each institution, ensuring accurate and secure cross-border payments.
How much does a SWIFT transfer cost?
We take a fixed €25 fee for outgoing SWIFT transfers, while all incoming transfers are free.
How can I top up my CFPS account?
To add money to your CFPS account, simply copy your account details and use them to make a SEPA or SWIFT transfer from your other bank account.
You can also top up your account by transferring money from your PayPal account, by requesting a payment from your friends within or outside the CFPS community, or by getting your salary paid into your account.
