A CFPS account is an electronic money account that allows you to spend, transfer, and manage your money via the app on your smartphone.

Your account comes with an IBAN, so you can use your account details to pay and get paid seamlessly anywhere in Europe. You can also get free virtual and physical Mastercard® debit cards for contactless payments and easy cash withdrawals.

Other useful features include quick and secure international transfers and instant push notifications – all wrapped up in an intuitive and enjoyable app experience.

You can open your free CFPS account if you’re aged 18 or older and reside in the European Economic Area (EEA). We’ll ask you to provide your ID document and residence permit (if applicable) to verify your identity, and proof of address to confirm that you live in a supported country.

That’s all you need to get started. We don’t require an employment contract, minimum deposit or anything else to set up your account. And we don’t charge any maintenance fees.

You can set up your CFPS account online, without going to a branch. To start, download our app from the Apple Store or Google Play.

To sign up, you’ll need to verify your email address and phone number, fill in all the required fields and take photos of your ID document and proof of address.

After that, you’ll have to wait a little while for your identity to be confirmed. This helps us protect you and your money from fraud. Once this is done, you can start using your account and get your free virtual card.

Once you’ve gone through the signup process and got your documents verified, you’ll have immediate access to your CFPS account. You can now top up your account, send and receive money transfers, and get your virtual card to pay online and in-store, while you wait for your physical card to arrive in the mail.

To add money to your CFPS account, simply copy your account details and use them to make a SEPA or SWIFT transfer from your other bank account.

You can also top up your account by transferring money from your PayPal account, by requesting a payment from your friends within or outside the CFPS community, or by getting your salary paid into your account.

Your free CFPS account is provided via an easy-to-use mobile app, so you can open and manage it on the go. With your account, you’ll get a free virtual card that you can use to make online purchases, manage your subscriptions, or pay in stores by adding it to Apple Pay or Google Pay.

Plus, you can order a free debit Mastercard® that will be delivered to your doorstep for free. You can also make instant SEPA payments or transfer money via the SWIFT network at low flat rates. All transfers between our users and all incoming payments are free.

The CFPS account is free. We don’t charge any opening or maintenance fees, and don’t require any minimum balance.
